Guidelines

Our goal is to collect videos covering a large variety of places and situations. Here there are a few notes about the videos that will be most useful:

  • Short videos: around 10-20 seconds
  • Static camera: you should hold the camera still. We only want to have motion due to objects in the scene.
  • Videos in a variety of scenes, not just streets!
  • More useful videos are videos with everyday situations. Not the one that you would like to upload to YouTube.
  • Do not upload videos for which you are not the copyright holder.
  • We will remove videos that contain inappropriate content or that are copyrighted.

    The videos that you upload will be made publicly available for computer vision research as part of the LabelMe video database.
